Packers should ‘bearly’ break a sweat

By DAN ZIELINSKI

The Packers (9-3) will host the Bears (4-8) tonight at Lambeau Field in the NFL’s biggest rivalry game. The Packers are undefeated in five contests at home.

In the season’s first matchup, the Packers defeated the Bears by 10 points at Soldier Field. The Bears’ defense kept them in the contest, as their offense could not keep pace with the Packers.

The likelihood that the Bears will avenge the early-season loss and pull off the upset against the Packers is slim. The Bears’ offense struggles to make plays while their defense is dealing with injuries, as Khalil Mack and Akiem Hicks are out on Sunday.

Expect the Packers to click on all cylinders against the Bears. The Packers’ offense has played at a high level and featured balance this year. Aaron Rodgers typically performs well against the Bears, and with the game at home, he should have another memorable performance to pad his MVP resume.

As long as the Packers don’t make uncharacteristic mistakes, they will win by at least two scores to remain in the hunt for the NFC’s top seed.

Prediction: Packers 31, Bears 20
