Lions will devour Packers again — which is good news for Packer Nation
It’s just a few minutes before the much-anticipated kickoff for the Packers-Lions game and I can’t contain my excitement.
I’m sure a lot of others feel the same way.
In a “Who Cares?’’ game, I see the Lions dispatching of the Packers just like they did on Nov. 6 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, when Matthew Stafford – like just about every other QB has done this not to remember season — shredded the Packers’ secondary.
Stafford, who would be a sure-fire, first-ballot Hall of Famer if he only played the green and gold, connected on 26 of 33 passes for 361 yards and a pair of TDs in leading the Lions to a convincing 30-17 victory.
You can fully expect Stafford to light it up again today in Detroit. Of course, if you’re a Packers backers that’ll be a wonderful, belated Christmas present. After all, it’s all about the draft now and the Packers could be big losers by winning.
Prediction: Lions 27, Packers 24.
