Kraft, Packers receiving corps could have banner game

The Green Bay Packers possess one of the most potent passing attacks in the NFL.
You can expect them to demonstrate that again Thursday night against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Packers come into the nationally-televised game ranked ninth in the league in passing yards per game at 244.5. And they should rank even higher after this encounter.
That’s because the Packers will be facing one of the weaker passing defenses in the NFL in the Falcons. After two games, the Falcons rank 23rd in passing yards allowed per game at 239.
The game could a breakout game of sorts by Packers tight end Tucker Kraft, who has gotten off to an understandably slow start after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in Week 9 last season.
Kraft, regarded as one of the elite players at his position, has only five receptions so far this season and has been targeted just nine times. He figures to be targeted more against the Falcons, especially if the Packers pair of fleet-footed receivers — Christian Watson and Matthew Golden — keep playing at a high level.
Watson and Golden share the team-lead in receptions with 10, and both have put up impressive yards-per-catch numbers: Watson at 18.8 and Golden at 15.3
If the Packers revamped and injury-plagued offensive line can do its part, Jordan Love, along with Kraft and his receivers partners, could have a banner game.
