Packers will beat the so-called ‘odds’
The oddsmakers in Las Vegas have installed the Cowboys as a slight three-point favorite for their game today against the Green Bay Packers in Jerry’s World.
I don’t buy it.
Since the Packers beat the Cowboys in the NFC playoffs last season, the Packers have gotten a smidge better and the Cowboys have shown a slight regression. Certainly, the ‘Boys have had their share of issues this season.
With several new faces in the starting lineup, the Cowboys aren’t playing at the same level as last season. And, most importantly especially when it comes to taking on the Packers, their secondary is quite vulnerable.
So, if Aaron Rodgers is on top of his game – and there’s no concrete reason why he won’t be —I fully expect him to exploit the Cowboys’ suslpect coverage and lead the green and gold to a convincing victory.
Prediction: Packers 27, Cowboys 20.
