Packers’ offense should be clicking today

By DAN ZIELINSKI

After a surprisingly close game against the Pittsburgh Steelers that resulted in a Week 12 loss, the Green Bay Packers look to pick up a home victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

Packers quarterback Brett Hundley had his best game of his career against the Steelers last week, completing 17-of-26 passes for 245 yards and three touchdowns. To expect a similar performance out of the young signal caller is unrealistic, despite Tampa Bay being the No. 27-ranked defense in passer rating.

But if Hundley can play close to that level and rookie running back Jamaal Williams is effective in the running game, the Buccaneers will have a tough time stopping the Packers offense.

The Buccaneers are one of the league’s most disappointing teams this season. Besides having a terrible defense, Tampa Bay was without quarterback Jameis Winston the last three games due to a shoulder injury.

Although the Buccaneers are a dangerous offensive team with Winston back from his injury, the Packers will win a close game at home.

Prediction: Packers 20, Buccaneers 17
