Zielinski: Expect the Packers to bounce back
By DAN ZIELINSKI
After a lopsided loss to the Atlanta Falcons, the Green Bay Packers return to the comfy confines of Lambeau Field to face the winless Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3.
Although it’s early in the season, both teams are needing a win.
Despite battling injuries, the Packers are at home, playing a weak opponent and are trying to keep up in the NFC North with the undefeated Detroit Lions.
On the other side, the Bengals had high expectations coming into the season, but sit at 0-2 with the pressure mounting as fans want the organization to make changes at head coach and quarterback.
The Bengals haven’t scored a touchdown yet this season. While that will likely change, the Packers have the home-field advantage and their explosive offense will be too difficult to slow down, even with the injuries.
Prediction: Packers 24, Bengals 17
