Pack Will Get Back On Track Today
If the Green Bay Packers don’t win today, there should be a full-fledged investigation.
True, the Packers have been far from a well-oiled machine so far this season, barely winning their season opener against Jacksonville (27-23) and barely losing their second game against Minnesota (17-14).
But it’s also true the Packers will be playing the Detroit Lions today, and the Lions are a run-of-the-mill outfit that has been ravaged by injuries to several of their key players. The Lions will be without:
- their best running back, Ameer Abdullah.
- Their best defensive lineman, Ezekiel Ansah.
- arguably their best linebacker Milwaukee native DeAndre Levy.
If that isn’t bad enough for the Lions, their secondary is brutal. Their cornerbacks are Darius Slay and Nevin Lawson. Horrible. Their safeties are Tavon Wilson and Glover Quin. Horrible.
The table is set for Aaron Rodgers to have a monster bounce-back game and for the Packers to roll.
Prediction: Green Bay 34, Detroit 20
