Bucks Summer League Team Shaping Up

A few more players who’ll be a part  of the Milwaukee Bucks’ summer league team in Las Vegas:

  • Terran Petteway, 6-foot-6 swingman, who played for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the D-League. Petteway, who attended Nebraska, averaged 11.6 points and 2.5 assists for the Mad Ants last season.
  • Travis Trice II, 6-2 guard, who played for the Westchester Knicks in the D-League last season. Trice, who attended Michigan State, averaged 15.3 points and 5.7 assists last season for the Knicks. He also shot 44 percent from 3-point range.
  • Ra’shad James, a 6-1 guard, who played for Westchester in the D-League last season. James, who attended Northwood, averaged 16.5 points and 3.3 rebounds for the Knicks last season.

James and Trice were teammates of Thanasis Antetokounmpo, the older brother of Bucks point forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.

James, Trice and Petteway will be in Milwaukee this week working out in preparation for the summer league.

As I reported earlier, they’ll be joined on the Bucks’ summer league team by another fellow D-Leaguer, Ronald Roberts, who played for the Raptors 905 last season. Roberts, a forward, averaged 18.1 points and 12.1 rebounds while being selected to the D-League All-Star game.
